Our journey started with a 14 hour flight from Santiago, Chile  to Paris, a short layover there and later a one hour flight to what we are going to be calling home for a year, Montpellier.

Exploring Montpellier: A day at the lake

Lac du Crés is a lake that extends over 6 hectares and was formed after a quarry explotation that ended in 1993. There’s space for barbecuing, bike riding, and designated areas to swim in the warm lake water. Also, there’s a small waterfall in which you are not supposed to bathe but, obviously , we did anyways.

La vie à Montpellier

Bonjour mes amis!

It’s been almost 2 weeks since my arrival in Montpellier and it has been crazy. I’ve been busy settling in my apartment, getting paperwork done, and getting to know the city. And I have to admit when it comes to choosing between staying home and getting things done, or going to the beach or a pub, I have chosen the latter options.
