And a whole lot of fun
Our journey started with a 14 hour flight from Santiago, Chile to Paris, a short layover there and later a one hour flight to what we are going to be calling home for a year, Montpellier.

Lac du Crés is a lake that extends over 6 hectares and was formed after a quarry explotation that ended in 1993. There’s space for barbecuing, bike riding, and designated areas to swim in the warm lake water. Also, there’s a small waterfall in which you are not supposed to bathe but, obviously , we did anyways.
It’s been almost 2 weeks since my arrival in Montpellier and it has been crazy. I’ve been busy settling in my apartment, getting paperwork done, and getting to know the city. Continuing with my China trip, during the time I spent there I took a 4 days river cruise on the Yangtze River which is the longest river in Asia (third longest in the world) and home to the largest hydro-electric power station; the “Three Gorges damn”.
Montreal is the largest city in “La Belle Province” of Quebec, and the second largest city in Canada after Toronto. During my summer of 2012, I got to make a little trip to this beautiful place for a weekend with 2 great Canadian friends.
